In 1924, the Manufacture founded by Kintaro Hattori in 1881 proudly adorned its watches with the Seiko logo for the first time, marking the inception of the eponymous brand's history.
Fast forward to 2024, the centennial year of the grand seiko replica, where the Japanese watchmaker introduces two new Prospex Speedtimer models, one of which is limited to just 1,000 pieces. These new designs pay homage to the aesthetic of the 1972 Speedtimer chronograph, featuring a sleek case design and a multi-link bracelet, both expertly crafted from stainless steel.
Measuring 42 mm x 14.59 mm with a lug width of 20 mm, these timepieces boast water resistance up to 100 meters (330 feet). The domed sapphire crystal, treated with anti-reflective coating, protects the highly legible "panda" and "reverse panda" dials, accentuated by the vibrant orange tips of fake grand seiko chronograph hands.
Designed for optimal readability, the chronograph seconds hand is delicately curved to align closely with the dial indices, extending to the tachymeter scale on the rehaut. |
